     双语君碎碎念：西藏是一个具有神秘色彩的地方，对于旅游者来说，这里是天堂，是一生一定要体验一次的神圣国度。然而，高原反应、饮食习惯等问题就像喜马拉雅山一样，阻挡了很多男汉子女汉子的步伐。

     不过，就在许多人犹犹豫豫的时候，4个非洲来的姑娘勇敢踏上了这片高原，她们选择的是半自助的旅行方式，对于还没有去过西藏的朋友很有参考价值!

     Our Itinerary to Tibet

     西藏之旅

     Day 1

    

     Arrived in Lhasa.

     抵达拉萨

    

     The road to Tibet is a steep one.

     去西藏的路很艰难。

     One may consider taking the Qinghai-Tibet railway train or flying directly. However, according to Youwangdu (2012), taking the 40 hour ride from Beijing to Lhasa does not necessarily mean you are acclimatizing. The reason for this is simply because along the route, the altitude is mostly either too low or too high to help with acclimatization.

     一般来说，旅游者会选择飞机或火车出行。前者的缺点是旅游者很难在短时间内适应高海拔环境，后者的问题则在于时间长、舒适度差。

     If you are looking to acclimatize quickly, the best way to achieve this would be to stay at an intermediate altitude (such as the city of Xining) for about one or two days before continuing to Lhasa.

     因此，如果想要更好地调整身体状态，建议在中间海拔的城市(例如西宁)停留1至2天，再前往拉萨。

     Day 2

    

     Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Sera Monastery

     布达拉宫、大昭寺和色拉寺

    

     In the morning, visited the Potala Palace, the greatest monumental structure in all of Tibet. The Potala is 13 stories high and holds countless treasures in its many rooms. Built in 637 AD, the Potala has been home to the Dalai Lama lineage for more than a thousand years.

     早晨先参观布达拉宫。布达拉宫建于公元637年，一千多年来一直是历世达赖喇嘛的冬宫，是西藏最负盛名的旅游景点，有13层楼高，内藏珍宝无数。

    

     In the afternoon we visited the Jokhang Temple, the holiest temple in all of Tibet. From the rooftop you will see pilgrims from all over Tibet prostrating in front to the Jowo Buddha statue inside the monastery. Afterwards, we visited Sera Monastery to famous debating monks.

     下午前往大昭寺和色拉寺。大昭寺是西藏最神圣的寺庙，旅游者可以从屋顶上看到朝圣者来此朝拜。

    

     Day 3

    

     Lhasa – Yamdrok Lake – Gyantse [3,950m], 268km, 5.5 hours

     拉萨-羊卓雍措湖-江孜，海拔3950米，268公里，5.5小时

     We began our adventure out of Lhasa, driving to Gyantse. Along the way we crossed over the Kamba la (4794m) and the Karo la passes (5010m), which boast spectacular views. After Kamba la, we arrived at Yamdrok Lake, a holy turquoise-colored lake with stunning scenery. Stayed the night in Gyantse.

     驱车前往江孜。途中可以看到许多雄伟的山峦，都在四、五千米高，令我们赞不绝口。而后，我们经过神圣的羊卓雍措湖。夜宿江孜。

    

     Day 4

    

     Gyantse – Shigatse [3,836m], 90km, 1.5 hours

     江孜-日喀则，海拔3836米，90公里，1.5小时

    

     Before the two-hour drive to Shigatse, we visited the Pelkor Chode Kumbum and Gyantse Monastery in the morning. In Shigatse we saw the giant Buddha in the famous Tashilhunpo monastery. This was followed by a few hour of free-exploring, walking the long circumambulation path around the monastery and exploring the city streets. Spent the night in Shigatse.

     早晨前往白居寺和江孜寺，随后开车前往日喀则参观著名的扎什伦布寺大佛，车程2小时。到达日喀则之后我们四处随意游览，绕着大佛转了转，也到城里街道上走了走，当晚在日喀则过夜。

    

     Day 5

    

     Shigatse -Yurlung Tsangpo River – Lhasa, 280km, 5 hours

     日喀则-雅鲁藏布江——拉萨，280公里，5个小时

     We arrived back in back to Lhasa. We wondered around Barkhor street and a couple of markets for souvenir shopping.

     回到拉萨。到八廓街和附近的市场购买纪念品。

    

    

     Day 6

    

     Depart Lhasa

     离开拉萨，圆满结束旅行!

    

     Costs

     Tour Package: The total cost for our tour package (from Snow Lion Tours) was 2850RMB, with a 1000RMB deposit paid earlier on before departure.

     旅行团: Snow Lion Tours 的报价是2850元/人，出发前需支付1000元人民币。

     This cost included Tibetan travel permits, Tibetan English speaking guide, private tourist bus both inside and outside Lhasa, Tibetan driver, Guide and driver’s expenses, accommodation for two people sharing with breakfast, and liability insurance. The price did not include lunch and dinner, entrance tickets to places in the itinerary, transport tickets to/from Lhasa and travel insurance.

     价格中包括西藏旅行证件，西藏英语导游，私人观光巴士，西藏司机、导游和司机的费用，双人间、早餐和保险。价格不包括午餐和晚餐、旅程中的门票、往返拉萨的交通费用和旅行保险。

     Local Food

    

     当地美食

     Food is inexpensive in Tibet. Typically, the cost ranges from 35RMB to 50 for each meal, excluding any extra additions such as the famous sweet/milk tea whose price also ranges depending on where you are in Tibet (3RMB to 10RMB).

     西藏的饮食很便宜，一般每顿饭在35元到50元之间，不过不包括甜点饮品等，当地著名的奶茶一般价格在3-10元左右。

    

     Transportation

    

     交通

     Transportation to Lhasa included a flight from Beijing to Xining (600RMB) and a 20hr train from Xining to Lhasa (530RMB). Transportation from Lhasa to Beijing was a 40hr train which costs 740RMB.

     西宁到拉萨(火车20小时，530元)

     拉萨到北京(火车40小时，740元)

     The four African girls

    

     As the only four African members at Yenching Academy of Peking University, Rukato, Nontshokweni, Mbanjwa, and Khumalo, who all studied at the University of Cape Town, say they appreciate the opportunity to live and study in China. It was not easy to enroll because hundreds of students in Africa applied for the Yenching project when it was founded, Mbanjwa said.

     最后，这四个姑娘，Rukato，Nontshokweni，Mbanjwa和Khumalo，现在都在北京大学燕京学堂上学，来自南非开普敦大学。她们很高兴能有机会来中国生活学习。Mbanjwa说，在数百名申请交换的非洲学生中考入燕京研究院非常不易。

    

     John Holden, associate dean of Yenching Academy of Peking University, said: “The admissions committee was extremely impressed by the four mature girls with outstanding social skills, who showed us that the program of China studies would add significantly to their professional qualifications in their fields of infrastructure policy making, engineering and international relations.”

     北京大学燕京研究院副院长约翰?霍尔顿回忆称：“这四个成熟女孩有着优秀的社交技巧，给招生委员留下了非常深刻的印象。”在选择学生时，研究院会寻找有学术和领导潜力的优秀青年。

    

     这四个热情中国文化活泼的菇凉，为了促进中非之间的交流，还自己创办了一个公益的网站www.fromafricatochina.com，她们希望为促进中非交流贡献自己的力量。
